This course is the first phase for new Fire and Life Safety Director (FLSD) candidates who have yet to begin their FDNY certification (F-89). Candidates who take this course must also complete (or have recently completed) the courses for non-fire/EAP emergencies (7 hours) as well as Active Shooter and Medical Emergency Preparedness training (4 hours).
Note: As of 2/1/2018, all 31 hours of course instruction must be successfully completed prior to a candidate taking their FDNY Computer Based Tests (CBT).
