AutoCAD Draftsman / Site Surveyor (NYC)

Full Time and Part-Time Availabilities

Job Summary: 

Conduct site surveys to pick up existing conditions and draft floor plans using AutoCAD.

Essential Functions:

  • Proficiency in AutoCAD
  • Ability to use laser measure
  • Ability to carefully document existing conditions with photographs and field notes.

Qualifications:

  • Adheres to company CAD Standards when creating drawings
  • Able to clearly communicate
  • Possesses effective written and oral communication skills

Supervisory Responsibilities: None

Work Environment: This position requires both field and home-based work.

Physical Demands: Physical Requirement Supplemental Sheet must be reviewed and signed.

Travel: Yes. Limited within NYC region

Education and Required Experience:

  • Professional Training or Trade School background in Architecture or Engineering
  • Strong skills in AutoCAD Drafting is required

Fire Drill Conductor / Service Representative (Brooklyn, NY)

Part-Time Availabilities

Job Summary:

Provide clients with Fire and Life Safety code compliance.

Essential Functions:

  • Assisting and conducting drills
  • Maintain portfolio of Buildings
  • Schedule and assist building in conducting Fire Drills
  • Schedule and assist building in conducting Evacuation Drills
  • Upon conclusion of assorted drills, critique drills with staff
  • Make notification of existing deficiencies within the building
  • Schedule and perform Fire Safety Training
  • Schedule and perform Emergency Action Plan Training (Non-Fire Emergencies)
  • Assist clients in the preparation of their Fire and Safety Plan
  • Review the buildings Comprehensive Fire and Life Safety Plans
  • Gather information relating to Fire Protection Systems within the building
  • Performs other related duties as assigned and/or requested
  • Review and inspect for accuracy all logbooks and building records

Fire Drill Conductor / Service Representative (Essex County, Massachusetts)

Part-Time Availabilities

Job Summary:

  • Perform services (including drills and training) throughout an assigned portfolio of accounts, enabling buildings to maintain compliance with applicable codes, rules and regulations.

Essential Functions:

  • Maintain/service an assigned portfolio of facilities providing a full range of fire prevention and life safety training to long-term care, assisted living, personal care homes and medical treatment centers
  • Schedule and assist building in conducting drills in accordance with NFPA and Authority Having Jurisdiction (AHJ) (Fire, Elopement, Emergency Preparedness Exercise/Drill, etc.)
  • Upon conclusion of drills, document and/or provide critique
  • Schedule and perform in-service (training) sessions of facility employees, residents, etc. as it relates to fire and non-fire emergencies
  • Collaborate with Croker administrative team to deliver an overall positive customer experience
  • Responsible for keeping current clients satisfied and delivering exceptional customer service
  • Maintain in-depth knowledge of the industry, providing guidance on codes and compliance
  • Advise clients on proper recordkeeping requirements relevant to Croker’s scope of services
  • Provide Croker Office with any known deficiencies within a building which fails to meet existing code regulations (relevant to Croker’s scope of services) or may pose a risk/compromise the safety of building occupants
  • Ensure timely completion of work
  • Performs other related duties as assigned and/or requested

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in fire protection or safety, emergency services or industry relevant experience is preferred (i.e.: first responder, fire inspector, fire instructor)
  • Capability to work independently and in a group environment
