With a diverse background in public service and construction management, Sean Magee brings a wealth of experience in problem-solving, leadership, and communication.
Having served as a Firefighter and First Responder with the FDNY in Brooklyn from 2004 to 2015, Magee was responsible for fire suppression, search and rescue, medical assistance, and community fire safety education. He also managed firehouse operations, including accounting and logistics, and worked in FDNY Operations, tracking and reporting on major emergencies citywide.
Before joining the FDNY, Sean worked as a Construction Manager for Turner Construction (1998-2004), overseeing multiple projects at Brooklyn College. His role involved safety training, contractor coordination, design issue resolution, and managing change orders.
Magee holds Bachelor of Arts in English and Theatre from Fordham College at Lincoln Center (2001), which has enhanced his ability to communicate effectively, think critically, and adapt to complex challenges.
