Rafael Orellana brings extensive experience in fire and life safety, fire prevention, emergency response, and construction operations to the Croker team. A career firefighter and HazMat Technician with the Jersey City Fire Department, Rafael has responded to fires, hazardous materials incidents, medical emergencies, rescues, and other public safety emergencies.
Previously serving as a Fire Inspector with Jersey City Fire Prevention, he conducted fire and life safety inspections, identified hazards and code violations, reviewed fire protection systems and building plans, and worked with property owners and contractors to promote compliance and safety. In his private sector role as a Construction Field Engineer, Orellana supported heavy civil construction projects, coordinating field operations, inspections, safety, and project documentation.
Orellana holds a Bachelor of Professional Studies in Business Management from Five Towns College and certifications including Firefighter I & II, HazMat Technician, and ICS-100.
