Patrick Breen brings decades of experience in public safety, law enforcement, education, and field operations to the Croker team. His background includes service with the New York City Police Department, humane law enforcement, animal welfare investigations, and as an Explosive Detection Canine Handler.
Most recently, Breen served as an Explosive Detection Canine Handler, conducting routine and emergency searches, training and caring for explosive detection canines, maintaining performance logs, and serving as a liaison between clients and his organization. He attained primary handler status at JPMorgan Chase headquarters and helped train new handlers while ensuring compliance with safety procedures.
Earlier in his career, Breen spent 20 years with the NYPD, serving in patrol, the Community Patrol Officer Program (CPOP), and the Mounted Unit. He also served in humane law enforcement and as Director of Field Services, investigating cruelty and neglect cases and working closely with law enforcement, prosecutors, and animal welfare organizations. In addition, he worked as a science teacher for grades 5–8.
Breen holds a Bachelor of Science from Adelphi University, earned cum laude, and brings strong skills in leadership, communication, training, and problem-solving.
