Matthew DiVirgilio holds 24 years of experience with the New York City Police Department where he was assigned to the Strategic Response Group. During his time with the NYPD he was assigned to Counter-Terrorism deployment in high target areas as well as Heavy Weapons Deployment. DiVirgilio is a graduate of the New York City Police Academy and has taken additional NYPD courses in Active Shooter Response, Counter-Terrorism Awareness, Emergency Response to Domestic Biological Incidents, Department of Homeland Security WMD (Weapons of Mass Destruction) Threats, Hazard Recognition and Emergency Response.
