Jeffrey Simpson is an experienced former Massachusetts Fire Chief with a 33-year career in firefighting, emergency management, and public safety leadership. Known for his calm, strategic approach and strong communication skills, he has led emergency response operations, expanded fire department involvement in municipal emergency management, and helped develop active shooter policies and training in coordination with law enforcement.
Simpson also oversaw town-wide emergency management efforts, including mitigation, preparedness, response, and recovery planning, while building partnerships with healthcare organizations to support vulnerable populations.
Simpson holds numerous Professional certifications and accreditations in addition to a Master of Public Administration in Emergency Management and a Bachelor’s degree in Business Management. His extensive training, leadership experience, and commitment to public safety make him a valued member of the Croker team.
