Former FDNY Captain Glenn Coleman is a seasoned fire and life safety professional with 20 years of firefighting and supervisory experience. Coleman has an extensive background in safety, disaster preparedness and risk management. As a Certified Healthcare Emergency Professional (CHEP) and Certified Healthcare Safety Professional (CHSP), Glenn Coleman has previously served as a Safety Manager overseeing a group of eight member hospitals throughout New York City and Hudson Valley (NY), where he conducted monthly fire in-service trainings for staff, evaluated practices and procedures to assess risk and code adherence as well as developed and enforced policies to establish a culture of health and safety.
A man of many talents, Coleman has written for The Watchline, a weekly counterterrorism FDNY publication. He is a recipient of WTC 9/11 Responder Medal and also speaks Spanish proficiently. In addition to a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Political Science from Columbia University, Glenn Coleman has successfully completed the following training programs:
