David Sarni

David Sarni is a retired NYPD Detective who worked within several positions during his more than 27-year career.  Most of his work was dedicated to conducting criminal and narcotics investigations.  Toward the end of his career, Sarni was involved in the training of new and currently assigned investigators in the Detective Bureau on numerous topics.  Sarni played a crucial role in developing courses for these investigators and teaching various subjects to uniformed and civilian members of the service in the NYPD.  He has been a continuous contributor presenting at the NYPD’s Homicide Investigators Course.

David Sarni has had the opportunity to conduct, design and present criminal justice curriculum for undergraduates as an Adjunct Professor at John Jay College of Criminal Justice.  Sarni is also certified by NYS Division of Criminal Justice in general topics and in training unarmed security guards for state licensing.  He shares his broad knowledge and experience with the Croker team and clients.

Sarni holds a Bachelor of Arts (BA) degree in Political Science from Brooklyn College as well as numerous professional certifications.
