Benjamin Smiley is an FDNY firefighter, highly skilled in emergency crisis management and protocols. Smiley began his career with the department in 2014. During his tenure, he has successfully staffed fire houses in all of NYC’s five boroughs and has performed under pressure in many rescue situations. Additionally, he has diverse experience in the public sector having served as an intern with both the NYPD and the Kings County District Attorney’s Office (Brooklyn, NY).
Smiley holds a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree in Criminal Justice from John Jay College (New York, NY).
